Given that the group will be composed of students who attend elementary school and do at least 2 hours of English weekly, my objective is to use the vocabulary that they learn passively in an active manner. We are going to do this by employing the vocabulary in situations that children of their age encounter daily (playing, singing and why not, acting). A concrete example might be the fact that this year the students learned colors, clothes, parts of the body, big/small, long/short – at this point , I could introduce the game “indovina chi” and they would be able to play it in English. So basically, I want to take what they are learning in school passively and use it in a more “entertaining” way so that they remember it and use it actively.
